THE STATEWIDE BOCES LOBBY DAY IN ALBANY HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2010.

Representatives from Eastern Suffolk BOCES and Western Suffolk BOCES will travel together on the same bus, and upon arrival in Albany, will split up into groups to meet with our Long Island legislators. Each year our bargaining units send volunteers from BEES, UPSEU, ADSUP, CSEA, and Middle Management. Members from the Board, Administrative Council, and parents also participate.

These dedicated stakeholders let legislators know about
the essential role BOCES plays in the quality of education
and life in New York State.

The Lobby Day materials, including the 2010 Advocacy brochure, will be posted on the website and shared with staff and the region as soon as they are completed in January.

and give to the legislators.
