SPECIAL ELECTION FOR SAS AREA VICE-PRESIDENT
The E-Board has directed the Election Committee
to conduct a special election for SAS Area VP, as there is no one
slated to fill the position as of July 1, 2008. This affects Counselors,
Psychologists and Social Workers.
Petitions for this position will be accepted,
for those eligible to run, through June 1, 2008. Signed petitions
should be sent via inter-office mail to Mary Harris at WFLC. Ballots
will then be mailed to all SAS constituents by June 5, 2008, and
must be returned post-marked no later than June 20, 2008. Results
will be tallied and released by June 25, 2008.
According to the BEES Constitution, Article VII,
Section 7.01 B, to be eligible to run, you must be an active member
in good standing and have served as a Building Rep, Delegate, or
a member of the Executive Board, for one term.
