The Long Island Teachers Benevolent Fund provides the grant opportunities listed below to all current Long Island B.E.E.S Paying Members.

​Please keep in mind we need the scholarships back to our office by Friday, March 3rd, and we ask that you ensure a copy of the student's transcript (NOT ORIGINAL) with a Current GPA highlighted is attached to their application. Covid-19 Emergency Financial Grant Application

The Long Island Teachers Benevolent Fund is committed to help you during your time of need or distress as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic. A grant of $600 per qualifying applicant has been approved by the L.I.T.B.F. Council.

Burial Award Grant

Financial Grant

Payable to the individual who incurs the funeral expenses of any member of a participating local who dies while in active service.

Payable for dire need due to death or serious illness, or sudden personal catastrophe.

Military Service Grant

2023 Len Motisi Memorial Scholarship

Payable for active military service in the US armed forces that results in loss of income.

Eligibility: Children of members who are high school seniors that are graduating and who will be attending a post secondary institution on a full time basis.
